Article Processing Charge

In accordance with Order No. 194-32 and the Regulations on the Provision of Paid Services by Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv for the publication and sale of educational literature, methodological, scientific-methodological, scientific, scientific-technical, periodical publications, and other printed media through the Publishing and Printing Center "Kyiv University," an Article Processing Charge (APC) has been established for editorial processing and publication of articles in the scientific journals of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.

The Editorial Board does not charge any fees for article submission or peer review. The Article Processing Charge (APC) is payable only after an article has been recommended for publication and is intended solely to cover editorial and publishing expenses.

The APC is UAH 1,800 for manuscripts of up to 40,000 characters (including spaces). The recommended article length is between 20,000 and 60,000 characters (including spaces).

APC Waiver Policy

The following categories of authors are exempt from paying the APC:

• undergraduate and graduate students, as well as doctoral and postgraduate researchers of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv and other higher education institutions and research organizations of Ukraine;

• academic and research staff of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv;

• authors affiliated with partner institutions that have valid cooperation agreements with Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv providing institutional support for scientific publications.

Members of the Editorial Board and journal reviewers employed by research institutions or higher education institutions that do not have relevant cooperation agreements with Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv are entitled to publish one article free of charge per year upon nomination by the Editor-in-Chief.
