Archiving and Long-Term Open Access Preservation Policy
RCHIVING
The Editorial Board of the scholarly periodical “Sophia. Humanities and Religious Studies Bulletin” seeks to ensure long-term access to its academic publications and takes all necessary technical measures to provide backup storage and maintain open access to the journal’s content.
Storage Locations
Each issue of the journal is published in both print and electronic formats. The electronic version is made available in open access on the official website of the journal and is also deposited in the institutional repository of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, eKNUTSHIR.
The institutional repository of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, eKNUTSHIR, is integrated with the National Repository of Academic Texts.
Electronic copies of all journal issues are also transferred for preservation to the platform “Scientific Periodicals of Ukraine” of the V. I. Vernadsky National Library of Ukraine of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.
Archiving Frequency
The journal’s content is archived after the publication of each issue, ensuring continuous and timely preservation of scholarly materials.
Licenses and Permissions
All archived materials retain their original licensing terms. This guarantees that readers and researchers may use the publications under the same conditions as at the time of their initial publication.
Archiving Policy Updates
The archiving policy is reviewed every two years in accordance with current standards in scholarly publishing and digital content preservation. Any updates or amendments are announced on the journal’s official website.
SELF-ARCHIVING
Preprint
Authors are permitted to deposit the preprint (the version of the manuscript prior to peer review) in any open repository, provided that the publisher and the journal are properly acknowledged in the following form:
“This is a preprint of a manuscript submitted for publication in the journal ‘Sophia. Humanities and Religious Studies Bulletin,’ published by Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.”
Postprint
Authors may deposit the postprint (the final version of the article in the publisher’s PDF format) in any thematic national or international repository, provided that the publisher, the journal title, and the DOI of the article are clearly indicated.
