Abstract

B a c k g r o u n d . The article emphasizes that under contemporary conditions, comprehending the role of new Christian religious movements in the processes of socio-cultural transformations in modern Ukraine has acquired particular urgency. Wartime conditions, large-scale migration processes, the crisis of traditional identities, and intensifying globalizing influences actualize the need for new spiritual landmarks and forms of religious self-identification. In this context, analyzing the activities of Neo-Charismatic communities, specifically the "Vidrodzhennia" Spiritual Center, which is a prominent actor in Ukraine's contemporary religious space, is of vital importance. The purpose of the article is to analyze the history of formation, doctrinal tenets, organizational characteristics, and social activities of the "Vidrodzhennia" Spiritual Center, as well as to determine its role in shaping the spiritual orientations of Ukrainian society under conditions of profound socio-cultural shifts.

M e t h o d s . An interdisciplinary approach combining religious studies, socio-philosophical, and sociological analyses was chosen as the methodological foundation of the study. Frameworks for researching new religious movements were utilized, including the concepts of individualization of religiosity and the mediatization of religion in the era of globalization. The application of hermeneutic and comparative methods allowed for the interpretation of the doctrinal features of the community under study and the determination of its place within the structure of contemporary religious diversity in Ukraine.

R e s u l t s . The article demonstrates that the "Vidrodzhennia" Spiritual Center belongs to the Neo-Charismatic movement, which emerged within the global Pentecostal-Charismatic movement and gained ground in Ukraine during the period of post-Soviet transformations. Its theology is grounded in Evangelical Christianity, with an emphasis on personal conversion, spiritual renewal, and charismatic practices. The organizational structure of the community combines centralized leadership governance with a network of regional congregations, while its cultic practice is characterized by dynamic forms of worship, the active utilization of modern media, and the involvement of adherents in social and charitable activities.

C o n c l u s i o n s . It is proved that the activities of the "Vidrodzhennia" Spiritual Center reflect the general processes of the transformation of religiosity under the conditions of globalization. This institution is shown to offer a model of religiosity oriented toward an emotionally intense, personal experience of faith and specific forms of group solidarity and mutual assistance. At the same time, the specificity and methods of this organization's public activity are accompanied by sharp public and scholarly debates regarding its impact on the denominational landscape and the religious security of the country.
